Albanese’s Flawed Two-State Push: Ignoring Biblical Truths and Jeopardising Israel’s Future

Dare to dream – dare to believe that a Greater Israel, encompassing Judea and Samaria, can become a reality in our lifetime. For the Jewish people, this is not just a vision for the future but a reclamation of an eternal biblical promise.

In a world where these sacred lands have been contested and diminished, the time has come to revive the dream of a united Israel, fully restored and sovereign, as both a spiritual mandate and a practical necessity.

The Albanese Government’s unwavering support for a two-state solution in Israel is both deeply concerning and fundamentally flawed.

While the government argues this approach will bring peace, it disregards the historical, biblical, and security realities that underscore the Jewish people’s eternal connection to their land.

For Jews worldwide, including those in Israel, the concept of partitioning the land—especially areas like Judea and Samaria—violates the divine covenant and jeopardizes their historical and spiritual homeland.

The Jewish people’s claim to the land of Israel, encompassing all of Judea and Samaria, is firmly rooted in the Bible. In Genesis, God makes an everlasting promise to Abraham: “To your descendants, I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates.”

This covenant is reaffirmed in Genesis, which explicitly designates the land of Canaan as an eternal inheritance for the Jewish people. Judea and Samaria, central to Jewish history and faith, include sacred cities like Hebron and Shiloh, sites of biblical significance.

Surrendering these areas undermines not only the security of Israel but also its spiritual and historical integrity.

The Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, articulated the non-negotiable nature of Jewish sovereignty over the land. He stated, “The Land of Israel belongs to the Jewish people by Divine decree. No human authority has the right to relinquish even one inch of this God-given inheritance.”

The Rebbe warned that any concession would endanger Jewish lives and diminish Israel’s divine mission, emphasizing that the land’s sanctity cannot be compromised for political expediency.

Despite these truths, the Albanese Government continues to advocate for a two-state solution, ignoring the historical rejection of such proposals by Palestinian leaders.

The very concept of a Palestinian nationality is a modern construct, with no historical or cultural basis predating the 20th century. This contrasts sharply with the Jewish people’s uninterrupted presence in the land, dating back millennia.

Attempts to establish a Palestinian state in Judea and Samaria would create a security risk, as history shows that land concessions have only emboldened terror groups and destabilized the region.

Additionally, the two-state solution disregards the sentiments of many Jews around the world who view this policy as a betrayal of their biblical heritage and God-given rights.

The Albanese Government’s position is out of step with these deeply held beliefs, prioritizing appeasement of international narratives over the legitimate concerns of Jewish Australians and Israelis.

By pushing a flawed solution, the government risks alienating a significant portion of the Jewish community and undermining Israel’s security and identity.

A just resolution to the conflict must begin with recognising the Jewish people’s divine and historical rights to the entire land of Israel. Advocating for a two-state solution not only ignores these truths but also perpetuates a narrative that endangers peace and stability.

It is time for Australia’s leadership to abandon this misguided approach and stand firmly with Israel, respecting its sovereignty and its biblical mandate to protect all of the land, including Judea and Samaria.
