Today is October 7th. We all know what happened on this day one year ago. The barbaric murder, assault, rape and kidnapping of approximately 1,200 innocent Israelis by Hamas extremists, is still raw and traumatic for Australia’s Jewish community.
Today is a day for mourning, reflection and unity. Today is not a day that Australian politicians should be using to weaponize their blatant antisemitism against a deeply hurt and sad Jewish community. The Greens are leading the charge!
Australia’s Jewish Community are in fear of their safety and security right now, and for good reason. Not suprising, given the obscenely aggressive and extreme anti-Israel protests in the cities of Melbourne and Sydney just this weekend (and every weekend for the past year!)
The process of mourning in the Jewish faith is deeply personal and unique to each individual. Jerusalem Post has reported that with the coming of Yom Kippur (Jewish Day of Atonement) this week on October 11th, “the major denominations have already written special prayers to be said during Yizkor, a prayer service in memory of the dead.”
The report demonstrates the kindness, respect and thoughtfulness, in how “rabbis and liturgists are trying to find ways to ritualize raw communal grief on the holy day. A number of groups have put out supplements to the High Holiday prayer book, known as the mahzor, containing reflections, prayers, and whole services addressing the mourning and anguish around the day and subsequent 12 months of a crisis that shows few signs of fading.”
Contrast this with the ongoing behaviour and actions of the Greens, especially on days like today. The Australian reported that “the Greens have accused the ‘extremist’ Israeli government of ‘genocide’ and ‘war crimes’ on the one year anniversary of the October 7th terrorist attacks.”
Of course, the Greens didn’t stop there. “By refusing to support UN resolutions on Palestinian statehood, refusing to support South Africa’s International Court of Justice case on the genocide in Gaza, refusing to sanction the extremist Netanyahu government, by continuing to import Israeli weapons used on Palestinians and to export weapons parts including for the F-35 fighter jet to be used by the Israeli military, Australia is complicit in this appalling conflict,” the statement read.
By elevating their vicious attacks on the Jewish community to yet another level of extremism, the Greens are leading the charge to shift the hearts and minds of mainstream Australians to believe that Israel, and the Jews, are to blame for all of this.
Sadly, this is nothing new. Adam Bandt, the leader of the Greens, has a pathalogical obsession with destroying Israel and bringing down the Australia’s Jewish community. The Greens stopped caring about the environment years ago.
According to their website, the Greens’ official policy called End the Occupation of Palestine calls for the following actions (verbatim):
- An end to the occupation of the Palestinian territories including the removal of Israeli settlers and security forces from all Palestinian territories occupied since 1967 including the land and sea blockade of Gaza.
- The State of Israel to end its ongoing genocide in Gaza and comply fully with the orders of the International Court of Justice and allow the passage of more aid into Gaza.
- The Australian government to formally intervene on behalf of South Africa and their case of genocide against the State of Israel at the ICJ.
- The Albanese government to sanction all members of the State of Israel’s war cabinet including Prime Minister Netanyahu.
The Greens have never once called out the reason why this conflict in Gaza actually started. They have never once called out Hamas or more recently, Hezbollah, for threatening the very existence of Israel. They support the actions of the terrorists and constantly justify the heinous crimes they continue to commit.
The Greens could not care less about Israel’s right to defend themselves who should take all necessary steps to safeguard their own existence. They believe that Israel is a colonial, apartheid state with no right to exist in their current form.
Opposition Leader, Peter Dutton, is a shining light of positivity and hope for Australia’s Jewish community. Dutton recently said the following on the importance of the Australia-Israel relationship:
“Israel is an ally of our country. Israel has provided intelligence to us to save lives of Australians and stop terrorist attacks from taking place on our own soldiers in the Middle East. Israel is a democracy, they are an important ally of ours, and they are under threat and attack this very moment.”
Make no mistake. The Greens are an extreme, left-wing, Marxist organisation who can not be trusted. How any Jewish person in Australia could in good conscience consider voting for them at the next federal election is beyond me.

We understand that they were formed by a group called the Australian Socialists or perhaps Victorian Socialists? I joined them a couple of years ago, as an environmentalist. I have to say, that what unfolded subsequently about their real tinge, came as a bit of a shock! I could not find anything on their website about the Greens position on Israel [this was before the current war broke out], so I reply-texted a woman who does outreach to recently new members and she could tell me nothing but referred me to Senator Jordan Steele-John in WA, who she said is the repository for all things Israel. Then my hub got me to view a video grab of this chap Steele-John having a rant against Israel in the Senate and I mean a yelling rant and I reckon I Took The Cure in about 60 seconds flat! The Greens are the most repulsive, divisive bunch of people who stand for everything Australia is not. They despise Australian values. The likes of Faruqi and Leong who are recent arrivals are hell bent on ‘colonization’ yet are they most recent ones. Expel them and disband that racist, disgraceful bunch. Nothing democratic about them. They are more aligned to the Nazi party than democracy.
I knew the founders of the greens personally. Adam Bandt was involved with the Victorian TAFE Student Association during my era of student politics. I went on a study tour with Alison Clarke to the Philippines and I knew people involved in the back rooms such as Steven luntz and Liz Johnstone who was involved in their international development policy wing. They are related to the International Socialist Organisation ( a split of this original movement). The Greens are made up of an ideological partnership with the nazi population controlists ( via their Green/ environmental politics ) as well as socialist / Marxist input via their association with far left anti parliamentary democracy trade unions including what was known as The pledge unions who agreed to form a Marxist alliance! In the end they turned out to be just very wealthy trust fund babies who had both the connections as well as financial support from their wealthy families ( such as Liz Johnstone) to pretend to give a shit about other people ( meglamaniac wealthy trust fund inheritors pretending to care about poor people and all the while making a killing for themselves). I watched them making corrupt deals, demanding rights for the poor while they themselves got wealthier and built themselves nice houses in leafy suburbs using mate rates building and construction labour!) they use commando tactics which include slipping drugs into peoples drinks and lying to police making false allegations about activists that they consider to be undermining their cause. They are killer level espionage activists – I suggest we leave them to the authorities to deal with ( who are already monitoring their unlawful activities – I assure you of that!)
