Let’s kick this off with a bang, shall we?
“South Africa’s genocide case with the International Court of Justice in The Hague is a watershed ’emperor has no clothes’ moment. Comparisons between Zionism and Nazism are now inescapable. This trial of the now pariah apartheid state of Israel will simultaneously be a trial of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that will invite parallels with the trial of Adolf Eichmann.” – Haskell Musry for the Green Left Website (24/01/24) statement from the Jews Against the Occupation organisation.
Zionism equates to Nazism, genocide, ethnic cleansing, occupation, and apartheid. Are these terms you would use to describe our Jewish homeland, the State of Israel? There are many Jews in Australia who proudly espouse such views and stand arm-in-arm with Palestinian militants and extremists protesting in our capital cities, effectively supporting terrorist group Hamas as a result. In this piece, you will discover why this is happening, who are some of the main players in this space, and how our esteemed Foreign Minister Penny Wong is legitimising the organisations that these Jews represent through espousing a fundamental shift in our foreign policy direction in the Middle East.
In a joint statment from European Jewish Anti-Zionist Organisations, gathered in Paris on 31 March 2024, “We are horrified by the genocide currently being carried out by the Israeli state and its allies, and express our profound solidarity with the Palestinian people with whom we share the struggle against Zionism. We intend to put all our forces in the global struggle to stop this genocide.”
The joint statement went on to say that “Zionism, a racist ideology of Jewish supremacy, endangers Jews around the world, including in Palestine. We reject the cynical and reactionary instrumentalisation of antisemitism and feminism by the Zionist apartheid state of Israel. We call on Jewish communities to break away from the state of Israel and its representatives and to restore a Judaism that is disconnected from Israel centrality.” These views are supported locally by like-minded organisations in Australia. This is all happening under our nose and is becoming more extreme in nature all the time.
On April 13th 2024, Paul Kelly from The Australian reported the alarming news that “Penny Wong has taken the next step in the realignment of Australia towards the Palestinian cause in a deepening of Labor’s pressuring of Israel and the Netanyahu government. Wong is floating the idea of early diplomatic recognition of a Palestinian state as a device to build momentum for the two-state solution – not at the end of the two-state process as envisaged by the Oslo Accords. In diplomatic terms this is a major change.” Poignantly, Kelly refers to Wong, a long-time advocate for Palestinian statehood, as driving a “shift to a pro-Palestinian position and a downgrading of the long and once trusting relationship the ALP used to share with a democratic Israel bounded by common values.”
By taking this symbolic stand leading to an inevitable shift in future ALP foreign policy positioning, Wong is effectively succumbing to the hardline Socialist Left faction within the federal ALP. She is taking the metaphorical foot off the throat of Hamas. Providing a myopic lense for viewing the moral and historical justification of this current conflict, Wong is stepping out of her lane to ensure that a globally recognised terrorist group hell bent on wiping Israel off the face of the earth and annihilating all Jews, can continue fighting until their bitter end whilst sympathetic nations like Australia turn the other cheek. Wong is a well known friend, supporter and advocate for the Australia Palestine Network (APAN), as seen in the following picture where she is speaking to their group.
Overall, this stance by Wong is shameful and should be condemned in the most absolute terms. In essence, the Albanese Federal Government is rewarding terror group Hamas by looking to recognise a Palestinian state before a final peace settlement is reached. The Federal Opposition Leader supports my view, as reported in the Sydney Morning Herald that “Peter Dutton has labelled Foreign Affairs Minister Penny Wong’s call for Palestinian statehood Australia’s most rash diplomatic move in decades, joining Jewish leaders in claiming it would be rewarding Hamas terrorists.” The Liberal Party continue to provide a beacon of consistent advocacy for the Jewish people and the State of Israel and I am grateful for this unequivocal support.
The rise of Jewish Anti-Zionist Organisations in Australia
Wong’s reckless comments relating to the premature recognistion of Palestinian statehood have provided a deeper sense of legitimacy for the various Jewish Anti-Zionist Organisations in Australia. As if we didn’t have enough foes across Australia already. These are organised entities which claim to represent Jewish interests in Australia and at the same time fundamentally oppose the existence of Israel as a Jewish State. Fortunately, they claim to represent a majority of the Jewish community but in reality only represent a small portion of hard left extremists who identify as Jewish.
They are plentiful and fraudulent in nature, standing alongside Palestinian extremists protesting against (so-called) Israeli opression, colonialism and apartheid and do major damage to the perception of Jews in this country. They fan the flames of historic antisemitic sentiment, myths and accusations by posing as Jewish representatives and often wear Jewish head covering (Kippah), prayer shawl (Tallit), ritual fringers (Tzitzit) and carry prayer book (Siddur). These people are self-hating Jews, referring to a Jew whose viewpoints on any specific matter are perceived as antisemitic.
Wong has enabled these Jewish Anti-Zionist Organisations to glide into the mainstream collective psyche of everyday Australians, establishing a flawed perception that these radical ideologues represent Jewish interests as the accepted norm. This is frightening and threatening to our very existence as Jews and seeks to legitimise the flawed belief that one can be Anti-Zionist but not necessarily antisemitic.
Make no mistake, they are one and the same. This is proven by the globally recognised definition of antisemitism, developed by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) as: “a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of anti-Semitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities.”
Therefore, I believe that it’s crucial to raise awareness of (some of) the major Jewish Anti-Zionist Organisations in Australia currently, and provide you with an overview of their key objectives and responses to the current conflict in Gaza. Sadly, there are many other organisations which could be covered in addition to those below. These will be featured in other future articles on adamkreuzer.com.au
♦ Loud Jew Collective (LJC) ♦
Overview: According to their social media, Loud Jew Collective (LJC) “foster a space for radical Jewish politics, culture and ideas on the lands of the Kulin Nation (so-called Melbourne). We are working to be a home and community for inspiring and radicalising Jewish cultures, knowledge and politics. LJC has participated in pro-Palestine solidary actions since its origins, and has continued over recent months including weekly participation in the pro-Palestine rallies in the CBD each Sunday.”
Response to current conflict in Gaza: According to their social media, “the people of Palestine do not give up their struggle for freedom. We all owe Gaza our endurance. We shall not stop until there is liberation. There is no doubt that one day there will be justice for Palestine, and Zionism will be undone. Every day we fight for that day. See you all on the streets. Join us with broken hearts, anger and determination, for we will never stop saying Free Gaza, Free Palestine, from the river to the sea.”
♦ Jews Against the Occupation ♦
Overview: According to their website, this group offers “a clear Jewish voice in support of Palestinian human and national rights, opposing the continuing Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories.” They are on record as seeking “an immediate dismantling of the Separation Wall and the removal of all Israeli settlements from the occupied territories, a just resolution to the situation of Palestinian refugees with the right of return and/or compensation, details subject to agreement between the 2 parties.” They also seek “social justice for Palestinian Israelis and an end to discrimination against them.”
Response to current conflict in Gaza: According to the Green Left website, “Jews Against the Occupation rejects Israel’s weaponisation of Jewish suffering to justify its oppression of the Palestinian people saying the message of The Holocaust must be that ‘Never Again’ means anyone.” Referring to the Holocaust as a psychological trap, this group believes that “many people of Jewish descent, grew up with the false notion that the unimaginable suffering and trauma inflicted on Europe’s Jews in WWII entitled us to exclusivity. By using The Holocaust, and the threat of another possible holocaust, as a psychological weapon, Zionism continues to manipulate Israel’s Jewish population and also Jewish people and their sympathisers around the world.”
♦ Tzedek Collective ♦
Overview: According to their website, “Tzedek Collective was formed in response to a growing need among Jews in so-called Australia for an anti-zionist space based on the principle of doikayt (hereness) and committed to anticolonial action for furthering Indigenous sovereignty and Palestinian liberation. We’ve had enough of the overwhelming Zionism in our community. We are committed to anticolonial and decolonial action for furthering Indigenous sovereignty, including Palestinian liberation.”
Response to current conflict in Gaza: According to their social media, “We denounce Australia’s complicity in the genocide in Gaza; we protest Israel’s weaponisation of Judaism and Jewish trauma; and we express that it is precisely our Jewish values of justice, liberation and solidarity that compel us to stand for the rights of Palestinians. We demand that the Australian government does not allow Israel’s impunity to continue, and calls for a permanent ceasefire, an end to the genocide, occupation, and apartheid.”
♦ Jews Against Fascism ♦
Overview: According to their social media, this group claims to advocate for human rights and justice, particularly in the context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, offering “anti-fascist news and views from a Jewish perspective.” Their website describes a piece of their artwork as “sexy antifa aesthetic meets ancient Jewish/Muslim exchange, meets angry-Hamsa, meets Yiddishist trouble-making diasporic glory! No justice! No peace!”
Response to current conflict in Gaza: According to their social media, “we stand in solidarity with Palestinians not only because their cause is just, but because their struggle is part of a global fight against all forms of colonialism and racism. We know that ending all forms of racism across the world is the only way to truly end antisemitism. And we feel deeply our connection with our Palestinian friends and kin. 75 years of of violence, military occupation and ethnic cleansing has not brought anyone safety. It’s beyond time to change what is being done.”
♦ The Jewish Council of Australia (JCA) ♦
Overview: According to their website, “The Jewish Council of Australia is a diverse coalition of Jewish academics, lawyers, writers and teachers, and an important initiative supporting Palestinian freedom & justice. The next generation of Australian Jews is resisting the pressure applied by the Jewish establishment to defend Israel and the Occupation.” The JCA are on record with the Green Left website, saying that “Many Jews do not hold Zionist views. Many, if not the majority, of people who hold Zionist views today are Christian Zionists.”
Response to current conflict in Gaza: According to their website, “Australia must place sanctions on Israel and terminate all military ties to avoid complicity in genocide. The Jewish Council of Australia calls on state and federal governments in Australia to immediately cut all military ties and place sanctions on Israel amid the escalating violence in Gaza. The Council urges the Australian Government to do everything in its power to stop Israel committing the crime of genocide. The Australian Government should be using all available forms of diplomatic pressure, including sanctions and travel bans on extremist settlers and those suspected of war crimes.”
What can you do?
If you are feeling somewhat overwhelmed or pessimistic about the sad state of affairs in Australia right now when it comes to the avalanche of opposition towards Jews and the State of Israel, you are not alone. This is made worse when your own elected political representatives from the ALP and the Greens in Canberra are actively working against us. However, there are some simple steps you can take to play your part in stemming the tide and offering a counterbalance to the vitriole, lies and abuse being hurled in our direction by the organisations listed above.
You can start by exercising your democratic right at the next State and Federal elections and support a centre-right political party which has shown steadfast, unequivocal and unashamed support for the Australian Jewish Community and the State of Israel. This could be the Liberal Party or any of the pro-Israel minor parties as well.
As an example, Federal Opposition Leader Peter Dutton is a true asset to our centre-right political cause, especially when it comes to calling out the Palestinians, Hamas and other troublesome groups focused on wreaking havoc in the Middle East. The Liberal Party and other pro-Israel minor parties should be supported at the ballot box for this fact alone. Additionally, you can take on a more vocal advocacy role by educating your friends, family and work colleagues on the dangerous existence of these Jewish Anti-Zionist organisations and understanding the truth behind their mythical, fraudulent arguments.
Be proud to speak up and don’t apologise for your beliefs. You are not being racist for doing this. This is exactly what the woke left-wing apologists within our Jewish Community want you to feel and believe. Stand up for the truth. It feels liberating.

I did not know that there were some Jews working against their own people. This is scary. The one Jew we know here in Australia is a faithful Jew. I will bring this information to his attention and get his reaction
They are the Khazarian Self-Styled Jews which have no roots in Israel. They are the same who founded Communism.
They falsely claim to represent our Jewish community here in Australia. Fringe groups who make a lot of noise. Very dangerous.
Peter Dutton is a genuine man. Will be voting for him snd his party.
I agree, Suzanne. He is certainly genuine and very consistent in his positive stance towards Israel and the Jewish community here in Australia.
One of the biggest enablers of anti Zionism is our own JCCV they have as one of their own affiliates for decades our single most anti Zionist Jewish Palestinian activity group the Marxist AJDS
I have been warning them for years of the dangers of giving mainstream credibility to a hardcore anti Zionist group that work hand in hand with Australia’s largest and most powerful Palestinian. lobby group APAN ( more effective than AIJAC in my view )
These 2 groups go to Canberra to lobby against Israel , AJDS also lobby against JNf recently lobbying the ATO to refuse turn tax free status
AJDS not only anti Zionist they lobbied along with progressive NIF against IHRA .Their founder sol Salbe boasted on line he had been advocating for Palestinians for over 35 years .
AJdS pass on all Jewish community information to Palestinian and Arab Muslim activists . Yet JCCV continue to excuse them and argue there is room under our umbrella for all views ( except right wing of course )
I Suspect there are some at JcCV that may be on side .
Can we ever imagine the equivalent of jccv the ICV ISLAMIC COUNCIL VICTORIA ever having as one of their affiliates a pro Zionist anti Palestinian anti Muslim group .
Is it any wonder the Palestinians own the Israel Palestinian Narrative in Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks Michael. I will be doing another piece focusing on groups such as AJDS and NIF shortly. Sadly, there were too many to mention in this one article.
Michael Burd, you are ignorant of the origin of the Australian Jewish Democratic Society and ignorant of its policies. The AJDS was founded in 1984 by Norman Rothfield, Moss Cass, Henry Zimmerman and Jack Kronhill. It became an affiliate of the Jewish Community Council of Victoria in 1993 at the urging of Isi Leibler (I was at that plenum meeting). It is still active as a progressive Jewish organisation within the Jewish community and has contributed to the JCCV in its discussions and debates. The AJDS and the newly formed Australia Palestine Advocacy Network jointly presented to politicians in Canberra in 2012. The whole point of the exercise was to present 2 very different perspectives on Israel / Palestine to the politicians we met – one a Jewish perspective and the other a Palestinian advocacy group. On some issues we agreed with APAN and on others we disagreed. The way we introduced ourselves to politicians made clear that we were not speaking with a single voice. Sol Salbe was not one of the AJDS founders.
I’m an Australian Christian and proud Zionist, God bless Israel the only Jewish nation. Never give away anymore land to people who hate you and the rest of the world
Appreciate your support, Sharon. We need more good people like you to speak up for what is right in this crazy situation.
The hypocricy never ceases to amaze me how those who believe in ‘decolonising’ Israel and handing back to its indigenous (who we know are the Jews anyway) how they don’t believe they should leave Australia for good as they are white colonisers here. We must get Dutton voted back in and those who voted for the Teals to ensure they vote back in the libs.
