Pauline Hanson stands up against anti-Jewish trolls

Perhaps it’s because of her brash communication style, or the informal nature of her messaging. She is blunt, straight to the point. Doesn’t mince her words. I am talking about One Nation Leader and Federal Senator Pauline Hanson. I believe that Pauline Hanson is much maligned and misunderstood and I make no apologies for supporting her views on many topics. Particularly when it comes to the carnage created by the Australian Greens, and the apologetic woke philosophies driving the ALP’s immigration policy agenda.

Pauline Hanson sticks up for Judeo-Christian values that have somehow become lost in the mix. In fact, there is much to like about Pauline Hanson especially when considering her clear, steadfast and staunch support for not only the State of Israel but also the Australian Jewish Community over a long period of time.

Rather than being the butt of people’s jokes, Hanson should be respected and commended by those of us on the centre-right of the political spectrum for her strategies, efforts and speeches to raise awareness of the terrible impact that extreme Islamisation is having on the safety and fabric of Australian society. Pauline Hanson should also be acknowledged and thanked for the way she has stood up and offered an almost singular voice of reason in the Senate amongst the tidal wave of biaised and frightening support from the likes of Lydia Thorpe and others like her.

It’s easy and predictable for extreme-left wing organisations such as the New Israel Fund and the Australian Jewish Democratic Society to call Pauline Hanson a “racist”. They have frequently opposed and protested against her which proves my point. In a Rosh Hashanah statement made in 2016, the New Israel Fund said that they “stand proudly, arm in arm, with our Muslim friends, and all victims of racism, in recognising that there is more that unites us than divides us.” I wonder how many of those standing proudly with their Muslim friends would be willing to take this a step further and show their support on the ground in Gaza? It’s easy to pontificate and show “solidarity” from the comfortable surrounds of leafy Caulfield and the serene beaches of Bondi.

Pauline Hanson continues to deliver for the Australian Jewish Community. She puts her money where her mouth is and speaks up. A recent example of her doing this was in November 2023. As Sky News reported at the time, Pauline Hanson “questioned the motive of the Greens party after they staged a shock walkout of the Senate in support of Palestine.” Long-time anti-Israel activist from the Australian Greens, Senator Mehreen Faruqi led the protest, shouting “Free, free Palestine” before exiting the Senate during question time with her fellow party members.

Rather than pandering to the extreme left-wing utopian fantasies of the Australian Greens, Hanson told Sky’s Chris Kenny:

“They are purely haters of the Jewish community and say ‘free Palestine’. We’ve got to be fair in our assessment of what’s happened with Palestine and Israel and what’s happened in our streets here in Australia as well – I don’t believe that it’s the place in the Senate for that stunt to be carried out.”

Hanson went on to say that “It’s a shame that this happens because people are fed up with these stunts from politicians pushing their own agenda and I think it’s wrong. There’s more important issues concerning Australian people but it is a great concern and fear because they talk about what’s happening with the Palestinians but they refuse to actually acknowledge really what’s happened to Israel and what is happening in Australia. Why are you so aggressive towards the Jewish people here? Why can’t Jewish students wear their uniforms to schools? Why are they in fear in their own country in Australia?”

Outside of the Liberal Party where unequivocal pro-Israel support has been provided from the likes of Peter Dutton and Dave Sharma, there is no greater friend to the State of Israel and the Australian Jewish Community than Pauline Hanson. Did that statement make you sweat a tad? The only reason why you may feel this is controversial is because amongst the sea of left-wing, woke media garbage being rammed down our throats each day, she is constantly framed as an extremist lunatic who should be ridiculed and marginalised.

You may be thinking “but isn’t Pauline Hanson a racist?” There is a lot of irony in the fact that such a description could be used for the Australian Greens and many of the more extremist elements of the Australian Labor Party (ALP). See, it doesn’t suit the media’s narrative to support Pauline Hanson even when she speaks with complete logic and common sense. To help you understand just how far the political pendulum has swung in fervount opposition to the State of Israel since the tragic events of October 7th 2023, I would like to share what Paul Kelly from The Australian wrote in February this year:

“Israel, having been denounced as an “apartheid state”, is now denounced as a “genocidal state” – the purpose being to deny Israel’s legitimacy and extol the moral worth of its opponents. There is almost a moral fervour at the attacks on Jewish businesses, on Jewish students at universities, stigmatising Jewish children and holding Jewish people to account for what Israel does.”

Paul Kelly is right. This has reached the point of no return, whereby denying Israel’s legitimacy is the norm for many Australians across a broad cross-section of ethnic, cultural and socio-economic groupings. We as Jews are metaphorically standing against the edge of a cliff with our toes poking over the edge. Besides the likes of Andrew Bolt, Rita Panahi and Peta Credlin (amongst other likeminded advocates) who are out there fighting the good fight, who else is advocating for the Australian Jewish Community across the media landscape?

Thankfully, we have Pauline Hanson who is a voice of reason against the tidal wave of anti-Israel hatred being spat through the Australian Senate by those on the left. She says what many of us are thinking, especially when it comes to opposing the likes of Senator Mehreen Faruqi from the Australian Greens. She calls out the complete hypocrisy of Faruqi’s persistent attacks against the State of Israel. This was evidenced in November last year, where she rightly said in Parliament that Faruqi “didn’t look at what Pakistan did to two million Afghan people there. They just went in, bulldozed their homes, said, ‘Go back to Afghanistan.’ What about those people?” Exactly. What about those people? Convenient amnesia when it comes to challenging Muslim initiated forced removal of other Muslims from their homes. This is the expected modus operandi for the Australian Greens. They see what they choose to see.

To further prove my point, Pauline Hanson’s post on X from November 2023 says it better than any other so-called leader in Canberra:

“Hamas propagandists will have been cheering the footage of yesterday’s cheap walk-out stunt by the Greens. They are laughing at just how gullible the Greens are, doing the bidding of terrorists who cut the heads off babies. The only sustainable path to peace in this case is the destruction of Hamas. Only then could Israel possibly consider a ceasefire. If the Israelis ceased fire before then, Hamas would survive to commit more atrocities because these maniacs will not rest until every Jew in the world is dead. And that is simply not acceptable. The world will not be safe until these terrorist maniacs are dead. A vote for the Greens is a vote for terrorism.”

Powerful words and unequivocal support from the truthsayer that is Pauline Hanson. She should be acknowledged, respected, and commended – not ridiculed.
